I help connect youth and their communities to free resources  available at the library to help bridge the gap that keeps low-income students at a disadvantage.

I help teach parents and caregivers at the library how to support the early literacy development of their children.

I help educators access materials and resources from the library so that they can supplement their curriculum.

  • I just found out that….The most dangerous time of the day is from 3 PM to 6 PM.  Public libraries provide teens with a constructive place to go during these hours, where children and teens can organize and participate in supervised recreational and educational activities.
  • I know you think that…. libraries are all going away but I would like to point out… the public library provides much needed college- and career-focused research tools, programs and events: they enroll in programs that provide SAT, PSAT and ACT testing strategies and career advice; interact one-on-one with recruiters at library-sponsored college and career days; and take advantage of the public library-sponsored job and career readiness workshops, outreach opportunities, and entrepreneurship trainings. “
